Abstract

The Bengkulu Province workforce in February 2019 was 1,039,259 people, an increase of 5,858 people or an increase of 0.57 percent compared to February 2018.

The population working in Bengkulu Province in February 2019 reached 1,013,245 people, an increase of 7,788 people or an increase of 0.77 percent compared to the situation in February 2018.

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Bengkulu Province in February 2019 reached 2.50 percent, a decrease compared to the TPT in February 2018 by 0.2 percentage points.

In February 2019, 67.90 percent of the population worked in the informal sector, and the percentage of informal workers fell 4.47 percentage points compared to February 2018.

During the period February 2018-February 2019, the highest decline in working population was in the Mining and Excavation sector, a decrease of 30.69 percent or a decrease of 7,941 people.
