Abstract

· Farmer Terms of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

· NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

· Bengkulu Province's NTP in March 2023 was 144.32 or an increase of 2.08 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the increase in the price index received by farmers (It) by 2.28 percent, which was higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) by 0.20 percent.

· The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Bengkulu Province in March 2023 was 136.97, an increase of 2.30 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
