Quarter IV 2018, Growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industries in Bengkulu Province of -16.4 Percent

Abstract

The production of the Bengkulu Province (q-to-q) Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) in Quarter IV 2018 fell by -16.4 percent, lower than growth (q-to-q) in the third quarter of 2018 which grew by 21.28 percent.

The decline in the production of the Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry of Bengkulu Province (q-to-q) in the fourth Quarter of 2018 was caused by the decline in food industry production growth by -20.58 percent and the production of rubber industry, rubber and plastic goods by -2.66 percent.

Production Growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industries in Bengkulu Province (y-on-y) in Quarter IV 2018 amounted to 7.17 percent, which was due to the increase in Food Industry production by 7.49 percent and Rubber Industry, Rubber and Plastic Goods by 7.01 percent .

The growth of Bengkulu Province's Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) in 2018 increased by 11.59 percent, due to the growth of Food Industry production by 16.83 percent and the production of Rubber, Rubber and Plastics Industry by 1.27 percent.

The growth of the Bengkulu Province (q-to-q) Micro and Small Industry (IMK) production in Quarter IV 2018 grew by 0.04 percent, higher than 2018 quarter III (q-to-q) which fell by -0.42 percent.

Growth of the Micro and Small Industry (IMK) Production of Bengkulu Province (y-on-y) in Quarter IV 2018 was 2.66 percent, while 2018 Annual Growth was 11.67 percent.
