The Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) is a household-based survey that is an integration of three surveys, namely the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the Quarterly Household Consumption Special Survey (SKKRT), and the Household Savings and Investment Special Survey (SKTIR). This survey was conducted to reduce duplication of activities and increase efficiency, as well as produce higher quality household economic statistical data. The importance of maintaining the quality of household economic statistical data is urgent because this data is one of the sources of data in compiling GRDP according to expenditure.
In 2023, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has implemented Seruti activities quarterly which are integrated with the March Susenas activities (quarter I) and are independent activities in June, September, and November (quarters II, III, and IV). In 2024, Seruti activities will be continued where in quarters I and III this activity will be integrated with the March and September Susenas 2024, while in quarters II and IV it is an independent activity.
For Seruti quarter IV 2024 will be held on 11-21 November 2024, in Bengkulu Tengah Regency there are 11 Sample Blocks that will be enumerated for Seruti Quarter IV.
In the context of implementing Seruti quarter IV 2024, BPS Bengkulu Tengah Regency held a preparatory meeting which was held on November 5, 2024.
